The Nutcracker

Today I got to see a second grade class production of the Nutcracker. It took about 20 min. after the crying stopped. Some kids dad was late and he was very upset. He did show up. Little C was cute. Pictures will come later. When I can get up to Zevon's house. Cable internet is easier to post pics with.

Little C was a mouse(rat) and a Russian dancer. There where hoola hoop snowflakes that fell apart when danced with. Lopsidded circle dancing was interesting. Do you know how hard it is not to laugh when children are trying sooo hard and just not getting it right? It was very cute. Little C's toy soldier should have dropped 4 or 5 times in the mouse vs. soldier battle. The soldier was battling a sword with a finger. Several direct hits were taken.

This was an interesting event. Only one more concert left to go. Thursday is the grade school's winter program. Well, now I must go kill the cat. He is up on the kitchen counter again and must die. That's it for right now. More vamp. story maybe tomarrow.
