1 in 150 children...

One in one hundred and fifty children are diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders) That is about one child every 21 minutes. Why is it that we hear so very little about this.

I tell people that my son has Asperger's Syndrome and they look at me like I'm insane. Then I tell them he has autism and they say "oh," It's about time that people realize that the child that is throwing a tantrum or acting up, is not the fault of bad parenting. They sometimes just can't help it.

We don't take him out much even though he is the sweetest most delightful child. When he has a bad moment people are down right rude.I just needed to rant. Thanks for listening.

I completely understand that, I also have a son with Asperger's, he is fun at times, but almost to much to handle at others. Very few people know about it, I will agree.
