What is this bullshit?

Every major news network in Portland, Or has been to my apartment building in the last few days. I am so not joking. We've had a wave of racist graffiti. Someone spray painted the "N" word and a swastica in our carport. My honey talked to the news crew that was here this morning. This shit has been up since Friday and now it's Wed. That's almost a week of being in the paper and on the news. I called the property managment company and asked them when they were going to take care of it and they told me they didn't even know about it. Well, they seemed a little more interested in it when I said channel 2 news and channel 6 news were both out here today. I find it offensive. Not to mention that people have been breaking out car windows and there's a shit load of glass all over and I have small kids. When I called they acted like it wasn't their responsiblity.

Well, maybe now they will clean it up to keep the news crews away.

I am really disturbed by the latest plastic surgery trend. No not botox or even boob jobs. Those I could understand. This is just wrong and what makes it worse is that most of the doctors on the websites I looked up are men.

This new marvel men have chosen to bestow on us.

Yeah, it's just what it sounds like. So, now men won't have to say is there anyway for you to get that tighter. No, now they will just print up the literature. Even more disturbing is that one of the sites said that the surgery and recovery are no worse than having a severe yeast infection. I've had one thank you. I'd like to avoid it in the future if at all possible. If your coochie isn't tight enough for your man. Tough shit. He can just leave it alone.

Another surgery that they preform is Hymen Reconstruction. Yes, they do that too. As if the first time wasn't painful enough. You can now relive this experience over and over if you like. It's all well and good if you're into pain and shit like that, but for the love of god women. Buy a pair of balls. Big brass ones. I find it very disturbing that this has been made into a self esteem issue. As if being told that we weigh too much and aren't attractive enough isn't bad enough. Now we have to worry our that having children has caused our men to loose pleasure in our bodies. Hell, that's part of giving birth. Shit stretches out.

What is the next generation coming to?

Today I was having a day. I told one of the girls I work with that our day today would make a great mel brooks movie. She gave me a dumb look. Just then another co-worker looked at me and says "she doesn't know who mel brooks is." Then I asked another young one if she knew what Monty Python was. She looks at me all inocent and says "Isn't that one of those gangster movies." I don't know if I could survive without the older people who work with me.

In other news.

My transfer finally went through. I'm a deli employee. I also got a huge raise. $1.05 an hour. I don't think I'll get my retro pay though. It would be like 700. I'm thinking that's not going to happen.
